For the development of self-made modules by the
client, a development kit is made available to facilitate
the integration into the Blue Line system-concept.
The system can be connected to a standard PC over
a USB connection to easily provide consoles with a
graphical user interface. A modular driver concept
in conjunction with system communication libraries
puts the user into the position to design individual
user interfaces with visual development tools, such
as Visual Basic, which can exchange data through the
communication libraries with the Blue Line system. |

Using an Industry- or Panel-PC, the entire system can
be placed into a 19” industrial rack. In this way
a graphical console can be used in combination with a real
time system with extraordinary operational reliability.
Typical problems of PC subsystems (electrical interference,
variable PCI bus loads caused by other components) do not
occur in this case.
The entire system can be connected to an Intranet or the
Internet through the TCP/IP protocol of the graphical operating
system. Thus enabling remote control and remote maintenance
of the system. |
